Training

The AFC conducts training programs for AFC personnel. The AFC also conducts NWCG wildland firefighting courses (course descriptions can be viewed below) which may be open to others. AFC personnel will have priority for any AFC training course listed. If a particular course is not full, others will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If these courses are full, check the links below to see if other agencies are conducting similar NWCG training.

All listed courses require a minimum of 15 students or the class will be cancelled.

** All of these courses are part of the required Basic Fire Training.

*, ** Hosted by the Arkansas Forestry Commission
